CTC culture refers to the technology of culturing live circulating tumor cells (CTCs) recovered from a patient's blood. By securing samples at the cell cluster level, this technology serves as a viable alternative to tissue biopsies and can be utilized for various follow-up studies and disease diagnostics.
Based on its superior technology, Cytogen recovers CTCs in a live state and performs 3D culture. These cancer cell clusters can be utilized for diverse basic research and clinical diagnostic purposes, including drug susceptibility testing (previously only possible through tissue biopsy) and tracking specific mutations that emerge during cancer progression following treatment.
Organoid by 3D culture
We provide a customized precision medicine platform that supports research and clinical applications by culturing live circulating tumor cells (CTCs) recovered from patients' blood.
- 3D tumor models replicating actual cancer: By building 3D tumor models based on live CTCs, we precisely reflect cancer characteristics and individual patient responses.
- Optimal cell clusters for tailored treatment research: By establishing high-viability CTC clusters, these models can be directly utilized for evaluating anticancer drug responses and establishing treatment strategies.
- Non-invasive personalized treatment solutions: The potential for patient-tailored treatment can be explored through a simple blood draw, minimizing patient burden compared to traditional tissue biopsies.
- Support for metastasis and prognosis monitoring: Through models that track metastasis processes and drug responses in real time, our technology is applicable in both research and clinical settings.
Cytogen’s CTC culture services serve as an innovative tool for researchers, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies, accelerating patient-tailored treatment research and clinical applications.
